Hamilton offers a packed March Break schedule for parents

Staying home for the break? The City of Hamilton has some brilliant events lined up around the city for March Break. Hop through the month of March to Easter with a packed itinerary for parents and residents in Hamilton! 

 

Parents should visit the Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology during March Break for Unplugged. This presentation runs March 12 to March 18, and showcases blinking lights, low tech games and activities from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Drop in with your friends and dazzle one another at chess, puzzles, cards and more. Visit 900 Woodward Ave. in Hamilton.

 

Step back in time with a family visit to a Monumental March Break presented by Battlefield House Museum & Park March 12 to March 16. Tour the 200 year old grounds in soldier attire, scribe and more at this interactive and exciting event. Live like an early Upper Canadian family from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. this March Break in Hamilton. 

 

Capture the moment at Dundurn National Historic Site March 10 to March 18. Take pictures in front of recreated backdrops tour in your own costumes, interact with costumed staff or dress up like a soldier from 1812 at this historic Hamilton castle and museum. Don’t miss March Break Madness March 10 to March 18, presented by the Hamilton Children's Museum. This week long event will inspire artists, engineers and future innovators.
