Patio love - how to brighten up your patio this year!

Everyone loves beautiful summer days and nights spent simply relaxing on the patio with family and friends. There are several easy ways to show your patio some love this season and create the perfect outdoor space.

First, brighten things up! Keep the mood fresh and fun: one of the easiest ways to accomplish this is to incorporate some bright, bold colours. Think about adding fun accessories, flowers and furniture. Patio furniture comes in a wide variety of colours to choose from, as well as more traditional colours. If you’re happy with neutral furniture add in bench or swing cushions or outdoor throw pillows in fun colours and patterns to the mix. Planters and hanging baskets in a variety of brightly coloured flowers also brighten things up.

For those summer evenings spent outdoors, light up the night so you and your guests can carry on a comfortable conversation as you unwind. There’s a wide variety of fun string lights to choose from to suit your style, from funky shapes to classic hanging patio lanterns, as well as solar pendants and garden lights.

Another way to spruce up the patio is by adding some interesting elements such as a water feature or portable fire pit. These add some flair while keeping the mood very Zen-like.

Your patio is a special place that you can design to create the ultimate outdoor atmosphere you desire.
