This beautiful, easily accessible falls in King’s Forest Park is also a Bruce Trail access point. This cascade is 19 metres high by 18 metres wide and is open year round!

Jones Road Falls

Situated along the Bruce Trail, this trail drops nearly six metres and is just short of two metres wide. South of the Queen Elizabeth Way just below Jones Road, this cascading ribbon is part of the Un-named Creek. A 30-minute trek for moderate ability hikers is a great way to introduce spring.

Buttermilk Falls

Oak-Knoll Park is home to this massive 23 metre ribbon waterfall that can be accessed inside five minutes. Hop off the Escarpment Rail Trail and pop over to the Buttermilk Falls that spans eight metres. This terraced waterfall is owned by the city with 20 spots available for trail parking.

Scenic Falls

Situated along Chedoke Creek Tributary Creek along the Chedoke Radial Trail this Hamilton Conservation Authority waterfall drops 20 metres and is nearly six metres wide at its peak. This 10 minute venture is a moderate hike for spring trekkers, and the ribbon at the end is worth it!

Westcliffe Falls

A popular spot in the city, Westcliffe Falls has parking for 100 visitors. The Westcliffe Falls has a 15 metre drop and cascade complex in the west part of the city. This spot is popular with golfers as it is situated steps from Chedoke Civic Golf Course.
