From epic block parties to classic fall fairs, here are some of Tourism Hamilton’s top choices for the season.

1. TIGER-CATS LABOUR DAY CLASSIC
Tim Hortons Field?September 2

Come and chant "Oskee Wee Wee" alongside local fans as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats take on the Toronto Argonauts in the most anticipated face-off of the year at the annual Labour Day Classic at Tim Hortons Field. This year's half-time performance features Hamilton's iconic Teenage Head. It doesn't get more Hamilton than this.


2. LABOUR DAY AT WILD WATERWORKS
Wild Waterworks?September 2

Say goodbye to summer break at the region's best waterpark. Snake your way down epic slides, splash around in the country's largest wave pool, or soak up summer’s last rays as you float down the meandering Eazy River. Discounted 'sundown' rates apply all day!

3. CHRISTIE ANTIQUE & VINTAGE SHOW
Christie Lake Conservation Area?September 7

Browse hundreds of unique antique and vintage vendors in a gorgeous outdoor setting at Christie Lake. On-site food court, picnic area and a beer and wine tent will help fuel your hunt.

4. CARLY RAE JEPSEN – THE DEDICATED TOUR

5. SUPERCRAWL
Downtown Hamilton?September 13-15

This three day music and arts block party is the perfect introduction to Hamilton's hopping culture scene. Expect the unexpected as you wander the downtown core packed with live music, huge art installations and amazing vendors. Headliners include Bahamas, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Stars.

6. BINBROOK FAIR
Binbrook Fairgrounds?September 13 – 15

Did you know that more than two thirds of Hamilton is rural? Get a taste of that sweet country life at the 165th Annual Binbrook Fair. Highlights include animal shows, farm exhibitors, a midway, and a demolition derby!

7. ANCASTER FAIR
Ancaster Fairgrounds?September 19 – 22

The beloved Ancaster Fair includes rural exhibitors and the time-honoured Demolition Derby! Throw in midway rides, games and great food and you've got the makings of a perfect fall getaway for the whole family.

8. TELLING TALES
Westfield Heritage Village?September 15

Celebrate children's literature and get up close to authors, illustrators and musicians in a gorgeous outdoor setting at this annual literary festival. Headliners include Sharon and Bram on their farewell tour and First Nations artist and writer Jay Odjick.

9. WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY?
FirstOntario Concert Hall?September 18

Get ready to laugh until it hurts during this live take on the long running TV show Whose Line is it Anyway. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will be looking for audience suggestions to fuel the show!

10. THIS IS SERIOUS: CANADIAN INDIE COMICS
Art Gallery of Hamilton?On until January 2020

Explore the works of close to 50 contemporary Canadian artists contributing to the genre of cartooning and indie comics at one of the region's largest art galleries.
